The latter location was not specifically named in the readings, but from clues and details given in several readings, researchers in the 1930s determined Piedras Negras to be the correct location. The crash had an unusual effect on many people in the area. It’s worth taking another look at it because we’re at the end of 2015 and the mystery of the remains still remains. According to news reports at the time, a meteor, fireball or unidentified space object fell from the sky on the evening of September 29th, 2013, in the town of Ichmul in southern Yucatan. The incident was witnessed and recorded by numerous people in the town, as well as in the nearby towns of Saban, Quintana Roo, San Francisco, and Peto Chikindzonot . Hanal Pixán in the Mayan language means "food of souls." This is the name given to Day of the Dead celebrations in the Maya area. In this region, food takes on a special meaning as traditional dishes are prepared for the spirits who are believed to return on this day. Hanal Pixan is celebrated in a similar way to Day of the Dead celebrations in other parts of Mexico. Families set up altars in their homes and decorate graves in the cemeteries, but the foods that are prepared are unique to the Maya area of the Yucatan Peninsula. Pibipollo, which means "buried chicken" is the quintessential Hanal Pixan food. It's similar to a tamal - it is made with corn dough and wrapped in leaves, but it is much larger than a normal tamal, and it is cooked in an underground pit. native mayan food by ca...

It is located in the northwest part of the state, about 35 km (22 mi) from the Gulf of Mexico coast. The city is also the municipal seat of the Municipality of Mérida, which includes the city and the areas around it. According to the 2010 census, the population of Mérida was 970,377, ranking 12th among the most populous Mexican metropolitan areas. The municipality's area is 858.41 km2 (331.43 sq mi). The metropolitan area includes the municipalities of Mérida, Umán and Kanasín and had a population of 1,035,238 in the same 2010 census. It is the largest of the four cities of the world that share the name Mérida, the other three being in Spain, Venezuela and The Philippines. The city, like much of the state, has heavy Mayan, French, British and to a lesser extent Dutch influences. Mérida has the highest percentage of indigenous persons of any large city in Mexico with approximately 60% of all inhabitants being of the Maya ethnicity. Mérida is serviced by Manuel Crescencio Rejón International Airport (IATA airport code: MID) Mérida is located in the northwest part of the state of Yucatán, which occupies the northern portion of the Yucatán Peninsula. To the east is the state of Quintana Roo, to the west is the state of Campeche, to the north is the Gulf of Mexico, and far to the south is the state of Chiapas. The city is also located in the Chicxulub Crater. It has a very flat topography and is only 30 feet (9 m) above sea level. The land outside of Mérida is covered with smaller scrub trees and former henequen fields. Almost no surface water exists, but several cenotes (underground springs and rivers) are found across the state. Mérida has a centro histórico typical of colonial Spanish cities. The street grid is based on odd-numbered streets running east/west and even-numbered streets running north/south, with Calles 60 and 61 bounding the "Plaza Grande" in the heart of the city. The more affluent neighborhoods are located to the north and the most densely populated areas are to the south. The Centro Histórico area is becoming increasingly popular with American and other expats who are rescuing and restoring the classic colonial structures. The Los Angeles Times recently noted this surge of interest in rescuing Mérida's historic downtown. Climate Merida features a tropical wet and dry climate. The city lies in the trade wind belt close to the Tropic of Cancer, with the prevailing wind from the east. Mérida's climate is hot an its humidity is moderate to high, depending on the time of year. The average annual high temperature is 33 °C (91 °F), ranging from 28 °C (82 °F) in January to 36 °C (97 °F) in May, but temperatures often rise above 38 °C (100 °F) in the afternoon in this time. Low temperatures range between 18 °C (64 °F) in January to 23 °C (73 °F) in May and June. It is most often a few degrees hotter in Mérida than in coastal areas due to its inland location and low elevation. The rainy season runs from June through October, associated with the Mexican monsoon which draws warm, moist air landward. Easterly waves and tropical storms also affect the area during this season.

A story about a strange humanoid found at the crash site of what was first thought to be a meteor on Mexico’s Yucatan Peninsula in 2013 popped up again this week. Many more heard the loud boom that accompanied it, saw flashing blue lights and experienced power outages.Since it appeared to crash so close to Ichmul, some residents went to find where it hit and were shocked at what they found: stuck in the ground were solid metallic-like pieces of … something. They also reported a strange smell and some of them felt nauseous and had headaches. They took the fragments to the local police where they attempted to reassemble them into whatever it once was.One of the things they assembled was what appeared to be a humanoid. They were unable to determine if it was a robot, a rigid metallic spacesuit or the remains of an alien with a body composition that could survive such a fiery crash. So here we are in 2015, over two years after the mysterious crash and the remains of a humanoid and possibly its craft were found, and still no explanation … Unless you’re willing to go back a few years … 65 million, to be exact. That’s when many believe an asteroid hit the Earth near Yucatan and caused the extinction of the dinosaurs. Was the humanoid coming to warn of another killer asteroid heading towards Earth? Was it trying to give enough of a warning about asteroid 2003 SD220, the 1.5-mile wide “high priority” near-Earth asteroid expected to come very close on or about Christmas Eve?Is it just a coincidence that this 2013 story mysteriously popped up on the Internet again so close to the arrival in 2015 of a potentially disastrous asteroid? And what ever happened to the humanoid?

It's similar to a tamal - it is made with corn dough and wrapped in leaves, but it is much larger than a normal tamal, and it is cooked in an underground pit. native mayan food by campeche flavor ,learn cooking campechanian, today of dead from ancient mayas. called hanal pixan comida nativa maya por el sabor de campeche, aprende a cocinar la comida campechana del tradicional dia de muertos conocido por los mayas como hanal pixan, todo el procedimiento y peninsula de yucatan comida maya para el dia de muertos. Yucatan Canote Life. The Yucatan Peninsula is mostly a large limestone shelf and fresh water cenotes (wells) are where the Mayans who inhabited the area for thousands of years got their drinking water from. The cenotes were also an important part of religion and ceremonial cenotes were used in human sacrifices, like the Sacred Cenote by Chichen Itza. Cenotes are interconnected by underground rivers and a variety of fish and freshwater shrimp are found in them. Music: 'Interstella Rain' rgangsta http://www.looperman.com/tracks_detail.php?tid=65082
